There are no less than six clean safe sandy beaches close by, offering every water
sport. Villa Gardenia is situated in a pleasant residential area of Riells. Within an easy
walk there is a highly recommended French restaurant with bar, and a supermarket.
Local sandy beaches at Riells are a short drive or just under a 20 minute walk away.

Villa Gardenia is close to the Marina of L'Escala, which is situated in the south, of the
wide and majestic gulf of Roses. Close by one can visit the magnificent Greco-Roman
ruins of Empuriès, which are one of the most picturesque and interesting places on the
Costa Brava.

Different kinds of sports are available such as sailing, diving, water skiing, fishing, etc.
